FRUITFUL ESCSAPE

Fruitful escape is a small capsule collection that was produced during my second year studying Textile Design at university. This collection initial form was inspired by my muse Mia Regan, a unique 18 year old fashion influencer. When researching my muse the colours and textures that were seen throughout her style linked well to tropical fruits. Within this collection i explored the bright colours seen in fruits, whilst also looking into the textures and patterns they can create or display. I took this into my textiles work and created a combination of digital and physical work.

I explore sustainability and the beauty of hand craft within this collection, by using all natural fabrics, cotton threads, glass beads and experimented making my own fruit shaped beads.
